the experience that I offer:

I am an artist and interior designer.  

I reside in the Connecticut woods and I annually visit my extended family in Greece and Canada.  I have lived in Manhattan, Los Angeles, New Jersey, and Long Island.

I studied film at the School of Visual Arts in New York, fine art, greeting card illustration & production design also at SVA, and Interior Design at UCLA’s Extension Program. In 2024, Serendipity Magazine featured my Great Neck Estates project in an article by Kristan Zimmer, titled: “An Empty Nest Inspired by the Sky”. My work was highlighted in ABC Home’s 2020 Lookbook and won the Serendipity Magazine Design Innovator Award for living room in 2020 and for dining room in 2021. I started my career in Los Angeles, assisting in the management of an interior design business that catered to elite designers and celebrities. For fifteen years, I worked for an interior design company on Long Island and in Connecticut, thirteen of which I was the project manager of a team of twelve plus designers.  I also produced, was the music supervisor and production designer for a feature film called, “MO”, which won Best Feature Film at the Malibu Film Festival in 2007. With the establishment of My Gingerland in 2018, I currently design interiors for select clients alongside the creating and selling of my artwork. My approach is organic and inspired by the people who live in and use the spaces that I create.  My intention is to realize healing environments to help my clients feel in alignment and uplifted in their surroundings. I am dedicated to expressing my experience of the natural world through my art. Each piece is inspired by a piece of music, expressing the energy of life, loss, and love through color, texture, and selected lyrics noted on the back of each canvas. It is fulfilling to create these pieces for both residential and commercial interior decor.
